U.N. mean peace?

So at a peaceful meeting, with world leaders about climate change, fights break out and the riot patrol has to come? Whatever happened to the U.N. meaning peace? The Chinese and United States are the biggest players there and we disagree on about everything. I don't understand why we can't just agree that there is a problem and then just try and put regulations on things. People just make things wayyy to much complicated. I think that if scientists wouldn't be so iffy on their results then everything might just be the same. No one would fighting also. I hopnestly don't get why there is a such a riot at a peaceful Global Warming meeting.
